“Storm … Storm ... Stormkitties. Gooooo!”

Hmm, doesn’t quite have the same ring to it...

Hope you're all having a rad Halloween weekend. If you're looking for something spooky to read, you should totally check out my Halloween-themed horror novel, Grim October (Jessica edited and illustrated it). It's also set in the 1980s, but Grim October isn't a comedy like this comic (though of course it has funny moments--I couldn't imagine making anything that didn't have some humor). I suppose my novel is closer in tone to Stranger Things, Donnie Darko, or the new IT movie.

..and thirty years later, the property owners will catch the ire of many fans of the original show by releasing StormKitties Meow.

Also I bet that reporter with a preference for yellow clothes has the word for a month as her first name, and an Irish last name...

Heh, give another look at panel 2. Specifically the fourth balloon...

As for the more modern remake of Thundercats, I've actually never seen any of it. I imagine it'd be similar to the rebooted He-Man cartoon. I caught an episode or two of that and actually thought it wasn't bad, though it lacked the campy charm of the original.
